The State Library of North Carolina invites North Carolina public libraries to register for the onsite You Can Do IT technology training sessions scheduled at three locations across the state.

Led by Carson Block, this hands-on training will familiarize participants with the Toward Gigabit Libraries Toolkit and help realize an improvement of the library’s networking capacity to complete a broadband improvement plan and use that knowledge to take advantage of E-rate funding, technology grant opportunities, and the services offered by the NC Broadband Infrastructure Office. One printed copy of the Toward Gigabit Libraries revised toolkit (v. 1.5) will be provided to each participating library system.
Please note: Registration is required and each session is limited to 20 library systems with up to 2 staff attending per system. Each attendee must register. An IT staff member may register if accompanied by a library staff member. In the event of COVID travel restrictions, trainings will be held virtually.
