This workshop will take a close look at the ubiquitous checkbox and examine what we sacrifice for convenience and access to our digital world. Participants will walk away with a better understanding of terms of service agreements and practical ways to take charge of their digital footprint.

Tess Wilson is a librarian who loves talking loudly about digital literacy, equitable access, and citizen science. Beyond her library work she is an arts educator, mentor trainer, and zine enthusiast. She’s a collector of many things, from small rocks to big books.
